Tom Green is a Shareholder of Akron boutique labor and employment law firm Kastner Westman & Wilkins. An Ohio State Bar Association Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law, he represents a range of clients in comprehensive workplace law matters from locally owned small businesses to large, multi-state employers. Tom grew up in McDonald, a small, Northeast Ohio steel mill town and began his graduate career as a U.S. Postal Service letter carrier before pursuing a career in law as a non-traditional student. The first-generation lawyer (and college graduate) regularly gives back to his law school, at which he met his wife, Manju Gupta (JD ’03, MBA ’03). Tom serves on the Board of Visitors, as a 1L Student Mentor, as a Dean’s Leadership Fellow Coach, and in other roles where he can make a positive impact on the career paths of law students and new lawyers. Outside of the law school, he’s served in multiple community leadership positions, including as the Chair of the Board of Directors at the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park, an organization with which he’s volunteered for many years.
