Jennifer Mountcastle currently is in-house counsel at Huntington Bank, where she manages litigation, corporate insurance, and legal operations out of its Columbus, Ohio headquarters.  She previously practiced law from 2000-2015 at Thompson Hine in both Cleveland and Columbus, where she was a litigation partner, was active with the firm’s pro bono program, and chaired the firm’s Lawyer Personnel Committee that managed professional development and compensation for the firm’s non-partner lawyers.  Jen was a member of the Leadership Columbus Class of 2013, and was recognized by Law360 in 2012 as one of five product liability “Rising Star” lawyers nationwide. Jen was a co-recipient of a Burton Award for Distinguished Legal Writing in 2008.  She has been active on several non-profit boards in Cleveland and Columbus during her career and regularly volunteers with People In Need of Delaware County and with West Broad Elementary in Columbus.  Jen is a founding Co-Chair of the litigation section of the Columbus chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, has been an active mentor in the Ohio Supreme Court Lawyer to Lawyer Mentoring Program, and is also active with the Huntington Legal Department’s summer internship program.  A summa cum laude graduate of CSU|LAW, Jen was Executive Editor of the Law Review and Vice Chair of the Moot Court team.
