Lee Fisher, the 10th President of Baldwin Wallace University and former Dean of CSU Law, has had a wide ranging career across public, private, nonprofit, and academic sectors. He served 18 years in elected office including Ohio Attorney General and Lt. Governor, directed the Ohio Department of Development, chaired major state commissions, and authored several significant Ohio laws. At CSU Law he led a major turnaround marked by rising enrollment, financial stability, new clinics and programs, and national leadership initiatives including the P. Kelly Tompkins Leadership and Law Program and the CSU Law Hall of Fame. He has been a federal appellate law clerk, private attorney, CEO of major nonprofits, board director, columnist, commentator, and podcast host, and has guided key university searches and strategic projects. A graduate of Oberlin College and Case Western Reserve University School of Law with an MNO from Case Western Reserve, he has completed executive leadership programs including at Harvard and has received numerous honors such as induction into the Cleveland Magazine Business Hall of Fame, the ADL Jurisprudence Award, and the Richard Pogue Award.
