Judge Tim McMonagle has spent a lifetime in service to the community.  He served initially as a combat medic, who after injury, volunteered to serve on medical missions in the villages of Vietnam and as a convoy medic. He earned the Combat Medic’s Badge, and the Army Commendation Medal with first oak leaf cluster. Upon graduation from law school, he first served as a felony attorney with the Legal Aid Public Defender’s Office.  Subsequently he engaged in the private practice of law, ultimately leaving for the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas bench, the Mental Health Court, and the Ohio Court of Appeals for a combined 28 years. He was recently inducted into the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame.
