Attorney General Anthony J. Celebrezze, Jr.

    Anthony ‘Tony’ Celebrezze served in Ohio’s state government for 16 years as a senator, secretary of state, and attorney general. As attorney general, Celebrezze emphasized consumer and environmental protection and is credited with developing Ohio’s “Lemon Law,” which protects auto buyers. Celebrezze, son of former Cleveland mayor and judge Anthony Joseph Celebrezze Sr., also sat on CSU College of Law’s National Advisory Council, providing advice to the law school. A member of the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame, he served in the United States Navy for five years and was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal.
